Miss Wayland 2018, Ellen Hedlund, tells Rotary about how she got to Plainview from a small town in California. After a nation-wide search, Wayland won out over Baylor and TCU and all others. We are lucky she chose Wayland because we have been blessed by her presence.
Coralyn Dillard introduced Ellen who was joined by Nicole Adams, Assistant Coordinator of Student Activities at Wayland (and former Miss Wayland 2014).
Ellen displays the Rotary 4-Way Test coin that President Nominee Jay Givens gave her. Also a contribution to the Plainview Area United Way will be give in Ellen's honor.
