The club enjoyed an informative program from Paul Henderson from South Plains College. Paul described the exciting training opportunities at SPC in the wind energy field. Of interest was the challenging GED program in our state. Paul said that the new three-exam format for the GED was difficult to pass. Paul stands with President Stan DeMerritt and President-elect Lydia Castillo with a book he donated to reading programs for the Hale County Literacy Council. |

The Plainview Rotary Club welcomed new member Susie Starnes. President Stan DeMerritt, Vice President Kim Street, and Membership Chair Eloisa Hernandez led the induction ceremony while sponsor Charles Starnes (and Susie's husband) pinned on the Rotary Wheel. Susie brings a wealth of volunteer service to the club. |
