Club Minutes, 17 February, 2015
Meeting began with singing, "Home on the Range," and "God Bless America", and prayer..
President Elect Lydia called us to order (no small task), and welcomed our guests: Students of the Month (former and current) Bianca, Drew, and Tanner, as well as our guest student from France, Pierre.
Leslie bragged on finally getting around to giving Rodney his new membership packet and badge, Janice bragged on the Soroptomist wine tasting fund-raiser, Lydia bragged on Phil and the 2nd Friday Main Street Program.
Rob led us in the Foundation dollars game, and Drew was the lucky winner (weird!) of a chance to draw for the pot. No dice! Roll it bak in!
Ron announced that the invoices are on the table, and Lydia announced that March is literacy month, and that the Literacy council will be starting a "Don't Clown Around" book Handout at the schools, and encouraged us to sign up.
Don Dixon announced the slate of officer nominations, which was approved. Yay, new officers!
Stan introduced SuNell Pyeatt, who talked to us about the Compassionate Care Pregnancy Center.
Ross led us in the 4 way test, and Lydia dismissed us with the encouragement to "Lighten up, Rotary", through 'Service above Self'.
